Disaster Relief Fund

Wildfire season devastation affecting equestrian communities across California

Established in 2018/2019, EAF's Disaster Relief Fund provides emergency financial assistance to equestrian communities devastated by natural disaster.

When crisis strikes, horse people face unique challenges. Evacuating horses, finding emergency shelter for large animals, and rebuilding barns and facilities requires resources most disaster relief organizations don't provide. EAF steps in to help equestrians bridge the gap.

“While we have been told the California equestrian community has fared slightly better than expected, the grave accounts we've heard from horsemen who evacuated compelled us to take action.”
