Who Is Eligible?

Equine Professionals

Riders, grooms, horse show staff, farriers, veterinarians, braiders, barn managers, judges, and show officials.

Can apply for loss of income due to catastrophic injury, illness, or occurrence.

Non-Professionals, Amateurs & Juniors

Equestrians who ride or own horses as a hobby, including amateurs and junior riders of any discipline.

Can apply for acute, catastrophic injuries incurred while on horseback or handling horses.

The committee reviews and determines eligibility for grant support.

COVID-19 Response Legacy

During the COVID-19 pandemic, EAF rapidly activated its disaster relief protocols to support equestrians who lost income virtually overnight.
